Mammutti’s HirsiDesign stands for modern, bespoke and sustainable log construction. It combines a traditional natural material with contemporary architecture, clean lines and the residents’ own needs.

Log construction brings durability, a peaceful atmosphere and natural comfort to your home, whilst every solution is designed to suit your plot, lifestyle and preferences.

Mammutti regularly organises HirsiDesign Days, during which our customers open the doors to their homes and holiday homes across Finland. During these events, you’ll get to see how our customers’ dreams have been transformed into log homes, where natural materials meet contemporary design.

HirsiDesign Days

At the HirsiDesign Days, you’ll have the chance to view log homes in their natural surroundings. You’ll see how the rooms are laid out on the plot, how light flows through the rooms, and what sort of details make a home suitable for its residents. At the same time, you’ll gain a practical understanding of how modern log construction can be combined with everyday functionality, responsible material choices and individualised architecture.

These events also offer ideas for designing your own home. You can see a variety of floor plans, log profiles, window and door units, terraces and interior design solutions in real-life settings. In a finished home, the proportions, materials and atmosphere come across differently than they do in photographs or floor plans.

On this page, you’ll find details of our upcoming HirsiDesign Days and the locations where you can visit our customers’ log homes and holiday homes in person. At these events, you can ask our experts about construction-related matters, compare different solutions and consider what sort of log home would suit your plot, your current life situation and your building goals.
